I have 3 grandsons, ages 8, 7, and 3, that love to write notes, draw pictures, and just doodle sometimes. Problem is, the 3-year old forgets what he's allowed to draw on sometimes.  When I saw the BIGTHING adhesive chalkboard panel, I thought of him right away.

The chalkboard  roll is marked on the back so that it's easy to cut pieces and place them just about anywhere you want to. I plan on cutting a piece to fit the front of my fridge, and another piece to fit on a section of wall. Once in place, the boys can draw to their heart's delight. 

The kit comes with sticks of chalk, and an eraser. The description states that chalk pens can also be used with this board. I don't know that I will be using chalk pens. They don't erase easily. But I will be buying extra chalk in multiple colors, so that they can color whatever happens to cross their minds.

The more chances  you give a small child to use their minds to express themselves, the more they grow. Coloring and doodling encourages mind growth. This chalkboard roll and chalk gives my grandsons free rein with their imagination.

My son and his girlfriend live in an RV, and she has been looking for some solar lights to put on the awning over the door, to light the area up, as well as look pretty. When I was offered a chance to review the Qedertek Fairy Blossom Flower solar lights, I immediately thought of her, so I ordered them.

The lights arrived quickly, packaged in a small box. After taking the lights out of the box, I placed the lights on my front porch, where the solar panel would catch the sunlight and charge. I left them outside for about 6 hours. When I flipped the switch on the solar panel on, the lights lit up. Oh, they are so pretty! I like the multiple colors, and the flowers could be used for any season, or for no season at all. You could easily put these in a glass jar, and place the solar panel where it could get sunlight, and you would have a pretty outdoor table decoration.

The length of the lights is 21ft, long enough to go all the way around their awning and down both support posts. This length probably wouldn't be enough to go around a regular porch at home, but since I got them for an RV, I am ok with the length. They don't put out a lot of light, but it is just enough to enjoy sitting out under them. At least, by not being too bright, they didn't attract a lot of bugs. I would have liked for them to be a bit brighter. The lights can be set to come on automatically at dusk, or you can just turn them on whenever you want to use them.

I have read other reviews, and there are several stating that the batteries have not lasted long in this product. I hope she doesn't have this problem with them.

My son is a Mechanic, and sometimes has to work on cars in the cold and darkness. I don't know how many times he's come home with frozen ears from having to load a car on a trailer at night to get it back to the shop.

When I saw a chance to review the TitanOPS 5-LED light knit beanie,  I knew this was something he could really use. No only would it help keep his head and ears warm, but it will provide extra hands-free lighting when he's working on the vehicle. The beanie arrived quickly after I ordered it. The batteries were included for the light. To turn it on, simply flip the switch on the box.

My son has a large head, so the beanie fits tight on him, but for a normal-sized person, it would be just right. The LED lights are very bright, as evidenced by the pictures.  They are 50 lumens strong, and the description states they have a 40ft range. So far, he's only used the lights looking under a hood, but it really lights that area up.

To wash the beanie, you have to remove the batteries, wash it by hand, and lay it flat to dry. Do not put the batteries back in until it's completely dry.

All in all, I am glad I got this beanie for my son. Now my other son wants one.

We love to decorate for Christmas. Last year, we went camping for Christmas in Abilene State Park. They were allowing campers to decorate for Christmas. We had never seen the laser Christmas lights before then, but several campers had them at their campsites. We loved them. They were so awesome shining through the trees. We said then that we wanted to get a laser light for Christmas this year. So when I saw a chance to get the Wireless Control Laser Christmas Light for Holigoo, I jumped on it. This laser light is awesome, so much better than the ones we saw last year.

The lasers that we saw last year only had one function. Plug them in, and they shined red and green lights. That was it. Nothing else. With the Hoiligoo laser light, you have several options. You can have just red lights, just green lights, or a combination of red and green lights. The light patterns change, and you can speed them up or slow them down. All of this is controlled with a remote control that is included. Also included is a stake to place the laser light on in the yard. The stake is steel which should stand up to being pushed into even the hardest ground. Not plastic like the ones from last year.

We plugged the laser light in inside the house while the grandsons were here, and they loved it. The 3-year old was fascinated, and kept trying to grab the lights on the wall.

You can shine this laser light on your house to light up your house, or do as we plan on doing, shine it on the trees to give the trees a decorated look. The ways to use it are endless. We will be camping again this year for Christmas, and this will be the first decoration put out!

My husband and son are both Maintenance Technicians, and work in a Bank building and apartments. Water leaks in either one of these could be disastrous. It's important for them to find water leaks early, but it's even more important to make sure the wood around the leak area has not absorbed too much water, which will then make the wood grow mold, and begin rotting.

With the RISEPRO digital moisture meter, they now can check the moisture in the wood, and determine if the wood needs to be replaced, or if it is still safe.  All they have to do is place the meter very close to the wood that they want to test, and get a scan. It is important to let your unit accustom itself to the room temperature for a more accurate reading. Since this unit doesn't have pins, they will not be damaging any wood as they test it, preventing complaints from the clients.

The screen is easy to read, and all that is required for the meter to work is a 9-volt battery, which was included in the package. At this time, we've only been able to sort of play with the meter, as we don't have any reported leaks to check, but checking the wood in our pier and beam house so far has shown that our wood is fine.

I have Rheumatoid Arthritis in my hands and feet. Standing on my feet for long periods of time causes me so much pain, it's horrible. The holidays are the worst on me, because I am in the kitchen for hours. Many times I have said that if I could find a good cushiony rug, I would buy it. Well, I found one! And I bought it!

This mat is 3/4" thick, and my feet just sink into it. It is so comfortable. I don't mind cooking now. The mat is covered with a waterproof outer surface, so it is easy to clean when I spill or splatter stuff on it. I just take my mop to it, and it's clean. The backside is grooved so that it won't slide on tile or laminate flooring.

For anyone that has problems with their feet and standing for long periods of time, I highly recommend this mat. It has made such a difference in my kitchen. And I can easily move it from in front of the stove to in front of the sink. It's not heavy at all. IF this mat ever wears out, I WILL be buying another one!

My family loves to camp. We camp with the kids, and the grandkids. One of the most important things we HAVE to have with us is a hammock. My hubby loves to lay in the hammock and be lazy. We have gone through many hammocks over the years. When I saw this double hammock by foris, I thought this one would be great when the grandsons are with us, because they like to pile in the hammock with their Poppy.

Let me tell you, this is a BIG hammock. It holds both of us comfortably. Our combined weight is about 400lbs (no laughing!), and we were comfortable in it. Now, when I got in it alone, it kind of folds up around me, and I'm not crazy about that, but the hubby doesn't seem to mind it that way. He just went right on to sleep.

The hammock comes with 2 straps, 2 carabiners, and a carrying bag. The straps are loop straps, meaning that you thread one end through the nearest loop to the tree, after wrapping the strap around the tree. These type straps don't damage the trees. The carabiners are strong. So far, they've held our combined weight with no problems. The straps are a bit on the short side, so you need to make sure your trees are closer together.

All in all, I am glad that we have added this hammock to our camping gear. It will get lots of use every time we camp.

We love to go camping with the kids and grandkids, and what is camping with a hammock to lay around in? But you can't hang a hammock, if you don't have good, sturdy straps to hang it with. We've bought several cheap straps through the years, only to have them last maybe a summer before they decayed.

I purchased these hammock straps by foris to go with a new hammock that I just recently purchased. We will be going camping this weekend, and these straps will be put to the test! There will be adults, and kids, crawling in and out of the hammock.

These straps are capable of holding up to 400lbs. They are 15ft long, and have multiple loops to fit around multiple width trees. The description states they will not stretch out of shape. We shall see. To use the straps, you simply wrap the strap around the tree, then slip the end through the loop closest to the tree. That's it. No knotting needed. You will have to add some heavy-duty carabiners to the hammock to hook to the straps, but these can be bought at any Sporting Goods store.

I can't wait to test these straps out, and will update this review afterwards.

Do you want to keep a 3-year old busy? Give him one of these Pin Art games! My 3-year old grandson will spend hours playing with it. he puts his trucks under it so he can see the shape, he puts Legos under it, he tries to put the dog under it but the dog won't let him! I remember playing with the metal Pin Arts as a kid. Most of the ones I've seen lately are made of plastic, and the pins bend real easy. I don't think that's going to be a problem with these 2 boards.

I keep them on my coffee table, and everybody that comes by picks them up to play with them. It's funny to watch the adults, as they remember playing with them years ago.

This set came with 2 pin art boards, one is 5" x 7", and the other is 3.5" x 5", so small or big hands can play with them. The pins can be sharp, so be careful with them, but they are just fun to mess around with.

OMG! As soon as these arrived, my grandsons were all over them. They loved these spinners! Even the 3-year old was playing with them. It didn't take him very long to figure them out. The 7 and 8-year olds couldn't decide which was their favorite, the Gyro Wheel or the Rail Twister. The 3-year old couldn't work the rail twister very well, but he played all afternoon with the Gyro Wheel. He also had fun taking the spinners out and finding things to stick them to, since they are magnetic. He thought they were hilarious stuck to the Fridge.

I remember playing with these type toys when I was young, and am happy to see them coming back around. Simple, textile-learning toys. They didn't' have flashing lights when I was a kid, though, so the flashing lights were really cool. In the dark, they are awesome!

My husband LOVES to decorate for Halloween. We are always looking for more items to add to his scare trail. When I was offered a chance to review the Prextex skeleton, I jumped on it. This skeleton is cool. He is a full body skeleton, and has positional joints. He's 30" tall. He is made of plastic, but the plastic is a hard plastic, and will last, not like some of the cheap ones we've bought. Also included were some extra mini body accessories, like hands and skulls, that can be used on a Halloween cake or placed on a party table.

We participate in a Halloween Geocaching adventure, in conjunction with our local State Park, and this guy will be hanging out there, hoping to scare a few folks as they haunt....err.....hunt for the geocache!
