My grandsons love to come over and play basketball in my driveway. They are 7 and 8 years old, so we chase a lot of balls around the yard, or have to go get them out of the street before a car runs over them. When I saw a chance to review the Rolbak Net Gold Basketball Return Net, I jumped on it. I'm getting too old to keep chasing the missed shots!

The return net came securely boxed. After removing everything and checking against the instructions,  we were missing one washer needed for assembly. No big deal, as hubby had a spare in his workshop. The instructions are pretty straightforward. Even without them, I think it would have been pretty easy to figure out how to assemble the net.

The only tool needed to put the net together is included,  however, my husband used a rachet wrench to make the job faster. It only took him about 20 minutes to assemble the return net. We did need a ladder to be able to put the net up on the back of the goal. One person can do this, but it's easier with two.

The pins that attach the end pieces on the frame are smaller than the holes, and could easily be lost during storage of the net. We just attached a rubber band to them and wrapped it around the frame so we didn't lose them. A bit larger and longer screw could replace the pins, if lost.

After putting the net up, we filled the water bladder, which weighs down the bottom of the net, and tightens it, so the basketballs hit it and return to the shooter.

Once the Rolbak return net was up, the grandsons loved it. I still had to chase a few crazy shots, but all in all, we had a great time shooting hoops, using the return net.

Top Race 3D Battle Ship War Boat Puzzle

My grandson is 7 and has been working puzzles since he was about 2. I have never challenged him with a 3D, so I think he will love the Top Race 3D Battleship puzzle.

The puzzle came in 4 precut sheets of high quality paper foam. The precut pieces were very easy to remove, and didn't break during the removal, which I was afraid of happening.  This is a 120-piece puzzle, so I figure it is just enough pieces to give us a bit of a challenge, without overwhelming him.

The puzzle comes numbered, and with a detailed instruction sheet to help us assemble the battleship.  When completed, (we're working on it!) The battleship will be 21" tall. We will put it on a shelf in his room for his friends to see what he built.

The detailing on this puzzle is great. You can see the ship coming together as you add new pieces. It's fun to watch his face as he adds a new piece.

I have a 7-year old grandson that LOVES to work puzzles, so when I was offered the opportunity to review the Front Loader Tractor 3D puzzle, by Top Race, I knew this would be a fun project for the 2 of us to do together.

The puzzle is made from high quality paper foam,  and the precut pieces were very easy to pop out of the foam, even for him. He didn't break any pieces. All of the pieces are numbered, and an instruction sheet is included to show you how to put the puzzle together.

This puzzle has 66 pieces. No glue is needed to put it together.  All the pieces lock together. The puzzle pieces have very nice detailing. This tractor will look really cool once we finish assembling it.

The 3D puzzle is a great educational tool for kids, with the numbered pieces, the skill neede to separate the pieces, and the patience needed to assemble it. But it's not just for kids.  Anybody that likes do g puzzles will really enjoy this puzzle.

My husband love to sharpen all his hunting knives by hand, as well as a lot of my kitchen knives. I have an old wooden-handled knife that was my grandfather's that I like to use in the kitchen. I would never trust putting it in an automatic knife sharpener. My husband always sharpens it on a wet stone.

The Corsoe -sided knife sharpening stone is a good wet stone for sharpening knives. It has a 1000 grit side for sharpening,  and a 6000 grit side for polishing and finishing. To use this wet stone, it must be soaked in water for 5 - 10 minutes for the water to soak into the stone.  No oil is required on yhis stone. Then you can begin sharpening your knives. Make sure you use a little pressure as you draw the knife across the stone, but not too much pressure.

The Corsoe sharpening stone comes with a bamboo holder that dose not slip while the stone is being used. I like this, a I always worry about my husband cutting himself bad when his other stone slips. The stone fits into a rubber bumber, which then sits into the bamboo holder.  To use the other side of the stone, just pull it out of the holder, flip it over,  put it back in the holder, and you're ready to go again.

This wet stone can be used to sharpen kitchen knives, hunting knives,  scissors, and reusable razors, as well as small steel hand tools. The versatile of this stone makes it a great gift for anyone that likes to sharpen their own knives and tools. If they've never sharpened their own knives, there are instructions included. The instructions are easy to follow.

The Ziggy V stainless steel mug is huge! I didn't think if would be that big. 30oz. doesn't sound like that much, but this mug holds a lot of liquid.  I love to take it to the convenience store and fill it with soda.

The stainless steel tumbler keeps my drink cold for hours, even in the 90+ degree weather we've been having in Texas lately. No sweat on the outside of the tumbler is awesome, as I usually have a puddle of liquid in my console holder with any other cup, especially plastic cups.

The lid is a vacuum seal lid, and seals well on my cup. I don't worry about spilling my drink while traveling. Saves me from having to clean sticky soda spills. Both the lid and the tumbler are dishwasher safe. I just put them in, wash them, and I'm ready to go again. No smells, no stains.

The tumbler is made of high grade stainless steel, so I feel like it will stand up to anything I dish out. When I have my hands full with the grandbabies, I always end up dropping something, usually my soda. If I drop this cup, I'm not worried about it breaking.

I have not tried the tumbler with hot liquids yet, so I can't say how it will do keeping things hot, bit as for keeping things cold, it does a great job.

I purchased the Art Naturals Scalp18 Coal Tar Therapeutic Anti Dandruff Shampoo for my son's girlfriend.  She has really bad dandruff. She has tried many products to get relief from the itching and flakes, most with no success.

With the Scalp18 shampoo, her hair looks so much better. It is silky, without feeling stripped. She doesn't even have to use a conditioner afterwards. The flakes are gone, too.

When washing her hair, she does feel a tingling sensation, a "minty feeling ", as she says. The two main ingredients are coal and tar. Both are very effective against dandruff. They relieve the flakiness and itching.

The instructions say use a quarter-sized amount. If you use more than this, it takes forever to rinse out. This amount cleans her hair very well, and rinses out easily.

After washing, her hair is very easy to comb through. No greasy feeling left over, like with most dandruff shampoos. She says it is such a satisfying feeling.

When dry, her hair is silky and shiny. This is such an improvement from all the other products she has tried. The Jojoba and Argan oils in the shampoo bring out the best look of her hair.

I would recommend this shampoo to anybody with dandruff.

Baby Safety Magnetic Cabinet Locks

I have a 3 year old grandson, and he is very curious. He's always getting into something. My house is NOT baby proofed any more. I need to make it safe for my grandbabies! With these magnetic cabinet locks, I can do just this.

The locks were very easy to install. No tools needed! I just had to figure out exactly where I wanted them. Once I figured that out, I stuck the 3M foam tape in place to hold the lock.

Now, all I have to do is get the magnetic key close to the cabinet door, and the lock opens, allowing me access to the contents, but keeping the grandbabies out. I keep the magnetic key stuck to my fridge, so I won't loose it.

It state in the instructions  that if I want to remove the locks, all I have to do is heat the tape with a hair dryer. I haven't tried this yet.

I want to buy several more sets for my daughter's house. She has a brand new baby, and will need these in the future.

Cree LED Tactical Flashlight Military Torch

This compact Cree LED flashlight is a great size for putting in a tool box, a glovebox, a console, or a purse. It only weighs about a half a pound.  It fits nicely in my hand. The flashlight has a really sturdy quality about it.

I needed to install three AA batteries  (not included). To install,  just unscrew the bottom, pull out the battery compartment,  put the batteries in, replace the battery compartment,  and screw the bottom back on. Then just push the button on the bottom to turn the light on.

The Cree flashlight has 5 light settings - bright, medium, dim, strobe flash, and SOS flash. I personally like the strobe light for walking after dark. People can see it better at night.

I like the sturdiness of this light. My grandson played with it for several hours (he loves flashlights ). During this time, he dropped it several times. The flashlight stood up nicely to the beating. If a light can stand up to my grandkids, it can stand up to anything I can dish out.

I like to talk on the phone while I'm on the road, but I don't like to hold my phone because I want to have both hands on the wheel. I use the speaker function on my phone. The problem there is, if the road traffic is noisy, it's hard for me to hear the person I'm talking to. With the Anglink Bluetooth earbud, this problem is eliminated.

The earbud comes with ear cushions,  so that I can make sure it fits my ear, either ear, comfortably. The earpiece rotates to fit either ear, and the earbud rests over my ear. The microphone can also be moved around so that you can move it closer if you have a soft voice, or away from you, if you have a loud voice.

You can connect 2 devices to this earbud at the same time, making multitasking easy. The earbud also works with SIRI.  Great when I need directions.

All in all, I am glad I got this earbud. Makes my trips better.

My daughter has a newborn son that she is breastfeeding. She has discovered the joy (NOT!!) of leaky breastpads. When I saw a chance to review the Baybe Care breastpads, I knew these would be good for her.

The hypoallergenic pads are very soft against her skin. They don't stick to her nipples, even when wet. This should cut down on chafing. The organic cotton is very absorbent and breathable. 

The back of the breastpads are waterproof, preventing leaks from coming through to her shirts. This gives her the comfort to be able to go out in the public, and not be self-conscious. She has enough worries with a newborn when out and about, without having to worry about wet spots.

The breastpads can be handwashed, or washed on gentle in the washing machine. I did find they fray on the edges if washed in the machine, so I would wash by hand. After washing, lay them flat, and allow them to airdry. Now they are ready for another use.

I was really happy that this was a 10 pack of pads. This gets here through a couple of days before she has to wash them again.

I love, love,  love this electronic cigarette lighter! With the dual arc, it lights things very fast, with absolutely no left-over heat on the lighter.

The zinc alloy case is very sleek-looking and stylish. If it gets fingerprints on the case, it is very easy to wipe them off. The lighter is small enough to fit in a shirt pocket, or drop in a purse.

I like that the dual arcs are wind-resistant. Living in West Texas, we do have windy days. We were able to light firecrackers outside with this lighter. I liked that because I felt safer with it (probably a false security,  but anyways...). We lit birthday cakes easily, as well.

The paint does scratch easily if you aren't careful. But to me, that is a minor issue. I don't use a lighter for its looks, I use it for how it works.

The ease of use of this electronic lighter, both indoors and out, makes for a nice product. Came nicely boxed.  Could have been given as a gift.

TripWorthy Electric Pencil Sharpener

My grandsons are always asking me to sharpen their pencils so they can do their homework. I usually just use a knife or my makeup sharpener to sharpen them. Now I don't have to do it that way anymore.

With this electric pencil sharpener, I can sharpen their pencils fast, without making a mess. The sharpener puts a great point on the pencils, and stops running when the pencil is sharpened. You can sharpen colored pencils with it also, just as easily.

The sharpener is,smsll and lightweight. It would be easy to carry it anywhere. It runs off of four AA batteries (not included). They were very easy to install. After installation,  the sharpener was ready to go.

When sharpening, the bucket on the side catches the shavings. When it is full, just pop it off, empty it, and pop it back on.

Now my only problem is, the grandsons need their pencils sharpened more often,  because they think this sharpener is so neat!

Hoont Powerful Electronic Indoor Bug Zapper

It has been a HOT summer already in Texas, and the fleas are horrible.  We have 4 Chihuahuas that go in and out all day. Unfortunately,  we have been finding fleas on them. I do keep them confined to 1 room in the house, but I know the fleas can spread easily.

I purchased the Hoont Indoor Bug Zapper to put in their room to kill any fleas that might be in there. So far, I have not seen any fleas, but have zapped moths and flies! Man, this thing really ZAPS when it gets them. I hear one loud pop, and that's all. Bye bye buggie!

I did not realize how big the Zapper unit was going to be. I expected something tiny. No, this is a full-sized unit. In the description,  it states that it will cover a 6,000 sq. ft. area. It can be mounted to a wall, sat on the floor,  or hung from the inclined chain. We have it hanging.

There is a removable tray on the bottom that can be pulled off and emptied when it gets full of dead bugs.

We plan on taking this Zapper with us when we go camping, to fight the mosquitoes. The 2 ultraviolet 10 watt lights attract all kinds of bugs, so we will be able to sit outside and not be carried away by the bugs. This unit is NOT weatherproof. Keep that in mind.

I liked it so well, I ordered another one for my daughter.  She has cats in the house, and has been fighting fleas, also.

We go camping a lot, and have young grandsons that go with us. They love to go hiking at night, and always want to carry their own flashlight.  These cool collapsible lanterns are perfect for them.

The package comes with 2 lanterns.  The lanterns require three AA batteries to operate. These were included. All I had to do was unscrew the bottom COUNTERCLOCKWISE to open it, and pull out the plastic tab. I screwed the bottom back on, turned the lights on, and watched the boys smile!

If you use the light in the closed position, it is more like a flashlight,  but if you twist it open, it becomes a lantern. There is a handle on the bottom to carry it by when it is being used as a lantern.

There are 3 setting to the light - bright, dim, and flashing. The bright is great for walking after dark, and the dim is great inside the tent at bedtime.

My grandsons really loved these lanterns. They are lightweight and easy for them to carry. They had fun chasing each others lights around the wall!

My daughter has her first child on the way. He is due any day. As a mother of 4, I know how much babies drool, spit up, and ruin their clothes. Bibs are a MUST to prevent staining.

I have 4 Chihuahuas, 3 of them are male, so I have a problem with them urinating in the floor occasionally.  When I saw a chance to review the Augymer ultraviolet flashlight,  I decided I would try it.

The flashlight is compact in size, about 3 1/2" long. It takes three AAA batteries to operate. Just unscrew the bottom,  take out the battery holder, put the batteries in, replace the holder, screw the bottom back on, and you're ready to go. Just push the button on the end of the light to turn it on. Now you have a pretty purple ultraviolet light.

There is a lanyard on the end of the flashlight that you can put around your wrist.

I am giving the Augymer ultraviolet flashlight 4 stars because I found that I have to get pretty close to the stains to be able to see them. I had to be within about a foot and a half to see the stains. This may be  because of the smaller size of the light. However,  I did find that if the room is totallydark, the stains are easier to see.

The grandsons had fun looking at paper currency with the light, as they could find the strip and the watermarks with the ultraviolet light.
