Let me start this review by saying I am NOT a professional baker, far from it. So I expected to have a hard time figuring out how to use the LovinCookin Russian Piping Tips.
I did have trouble getting a coupler to fit them, so I am going to have to make a trip to the craft store to see what I can find. In the mean time, a tight rubber band let me do some playing around, using disposable bags.
I am glad that an instruction book came with the 8 pippin tips. I needed this help. It took me several tries with each one to get a satisfactory flower. Lwarning how to hold the right pressure on the bag so as to not overload the tip is hard for me. Again, I am NOT a professional baker. After I played a bit, my 7- and 8-year old grandsons wanted a turn. Wish I had made a video of their mess....ummmm.... gorgeous work!
The pippin tips are stainless steel, so are dishwasher-safe. I took them right after washing, and dried them well before putting them away. The pippin tips work as well as I expected them to. The quality is great.
