My daughter-in-law has started college. I have been helping to get all her supplies, so she doesn't have to worry so much about the cost. I purchased the Lavalier Lapel Microphone for her to use to record her classes, so that she can come home and listen to the speeches again. She can also record some of her own notes for later reference. Hopefully, this little microphone will be a good tool her her in her studies.
