Summer and Wasps/Yellow Jackets go hand-in-hand in West Texas. Being that I am highly allergic to bees/wasps/yellow jackets, this is NOT a good combination for me. I hate buying the spray that you have to point at the hives and spray. I usually end up running for my life! I purchased the Eliminator Solar Powered Outdoor Wasp Trap Catcher with Ultraviolet LED Light to kill some of the wasps and yellow jackets that like to hang around in the large bush near my front door. The unit came assembled. Just add sugar water, place, turn on, and let it do its job. Simple and easy.
