If you live in West Texas, you know how it is to spend a summer with flies and mosquitoes. It's NOT fun! You can't outrun them, you can't outswim them, you can't hide from them. They WILL find you. I am always trying to keep the flying creeps out of the house and off my grandbabies.
When I saw the Hoont Indoor / Outdoor 3-Way Mosquito and Fly Trap with Stand, I thought this might be just what I need to cut down on the mosquito population around here, at least a bit. I purchased it, and am glad that I did.
I have placed the trap near my front door, which is the one that gets opened the most. It has not caught all the flies, but definitely has caught a good portion of the ones that get in. To clean the dead bugs out, simply remove the tray at the bottom, empty in the trash, wash and dry it, replace it, and you are good to go.
The trap has a 5' plug, so can be used just about anywhere. I also intend to take it with us in the RV when we go camping. It is big enough to do a good job, but small enough to be portable, and you can use it inside or out.
