I don't have thick hair, but as I become older, it is beginning to get some kinky curliness to it that I don't like. I've always had straight hair. This frustrated me when so try to style my hair, and these kinky curls just stick out everywhere.
I purchased the KINGA ceramic hair straightener in hopes that it would help me tame this mess. So far, I am happy with my purchase.
The hair straightener barrel is more of a triangle shape, and like a comb, instead of slick. This helps grab my hair and hold it better while it straightens the kinks. The soft, silicone head keeps it from burning my hair or my scalp. I can also use it to a bit of a wave to the bottom of my hair, if I want to.
The ceramic straightener has six temperature settings, so you can choose the amount of heat that is best for your hair style. If heats up in about 60 seconds. The cord at the end rotates 360 degrees, to prevent the cord raveling up with use. It will also turn itself off after 20 minutes, to prevent fires.
Niw, my question is...how do I keep my daughter-in-law from snitching this for her hair??
