My grandsons stay at my house often, and my house is not made for Littles. Everything is hard for them to reach. Sometime, I have been known to flip large pots upside-down for them to stand on to reach things. I knew I needed something more sturdy and less slippery for them to stand on, so when I saw the dual height step stool for review, I wanted it for my grandsons.

The step stool arrived in a timely manner, nicely boxed. Upon opening it, I was impressed, because I really did expect it to be flimsy and a waste of my time and money. Neither turned out to be true.

The step stool is sturdy. My son weighs 165 lbs, and can stand on it safely. The non-slip grips on the bottom keep the stool in place, whether it be in front of the toilet for my potty-training grandson, or in front of the sink for them all to wash their hands for dinner. The youngest one stands on the top step to reach the sink, and the others stand on the bottom step. The non-slip surface on the steps makes me feel better for their safety while using the step stool.

The step stool is easy to clean, I just wipe it down with antibacterial wipes, and it's good to go. We can easily pick it up and move it from room to room. Actually, the 3-year old drags it around all over the house already, and the two older ones like to jump off it. Boys for you!

I like that the step stool can be used for years to come, as the boys grow up. I still have two grandsons that are too little to use it, but it will be here when they get big enough.

  1. I am an RN, too, and your review was MOST helpful for my 8 grandchildren under six years of age!
