I like ceramic knives for most all of my cutting and chopping needs. I have a ceramic knife in most every size they come in.

The 6-inch Aoske professional ceramic chef knife is a great addition to my kitchen. It is very sharp, right out of the box. These knives cannot be sharpened, as you will ruin the blade. The ONLY thing that isn't recommended to do with these types of knives is cutting through hard-frozen foods or bones. This will chip the blades, making the knives unusable.

The lime green handle of this knife has a textured surface, making it easier to hold when your hands are wet, and preventing slips. I like the weight of the knife. I read through the reviews, and saw that some people didn't like the weight, but I am fine with it.

The knife also comes with a lime green sheath to store the knife in, when not in use. I would recommend keeping the sheath on the knife when storing it, to prevent the blade getting chipped.

Another recommendation is to ONLY use plastic cutting boards with this knife. Glass or wood cutting boards can damage the cutting edge.
