My son and his girlfriend like to take weekend trips on their motorcycle. They have to make frequent stops to purchase drinks to stay hydrated. I always worry that they are not getting enough fluids in on these trips. We live in West Texas, and the heat here can dehydrate a person in a hurry.

This 2 liter hydration pack should be a great accompaniment to their trips from now on. 2 liters is quite a it of fluid, and will keep them from having to stop as often. They can just take drinks as they ride, and stay hydrated. It is easy to fill when they make stops, if they need to. The opening is big enough to put ice cubes in to keep the fluid cold longer, or you can fill a cup with crushed ice, and pour it in. Make sure that it is well-sealed after filling to prevent it from leaking on you!

The hydration pack slips over the shoulders, to be worn like a backpack, thus freeing the hands to stay on the handles of the bike. His girlfriend just reaches around with the tube and holds it while he gets a drink.

Before using the bladder for the first time, wash it well inside with a mild detergent, then rinse well, and you are ready to go. The bladder needs to be cleaned after every use, I leave this one open after cleaning and allow it to air dry inside.

The outer holding bag does have a place to put keys or small items, if you are wearing the hydration pack while hiking or doing other activities. This is handy. Keeps them secure, and don't have to worry about losing them.
